Laniakea Beach is the most famous beach on the island to see Hawaii Green Turtles in their national habitat. Laniakea stands out because it offers some of the most reliable turtle sightings on Oahu. Turtles come to the beach to warm themselves in the sun, rest on the sand, and feed on the algae that grows on the rocky areas nearby. This predictable behavior means visitors often see turtles even without entering the water. As a result, the beach has become one of the top wildlife-viewing spots on the island.
